Supportive Housing

Finding a place to live and writing a deposit or down payment check may be a simple process for you or me, but many people need assistance securing safe and affordable housing – especially if they have a chronic mental health diagnosis.

Community Partners of South Florida works with hundreds of individuals every year who are seeking permanent affordable housing and a range of services they may need on their path to self-sustainability. For example, we often find that people are seeking education or training so they can secure a stable job of their choice. They may also need therapy services or additional resources so they might thrive.

“Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.”

Our Director of Supportive Housing, Tracy Speranza, has been serving Palm Beach County residents with us for over a decade and has witnessed how affordable and safe housing is essential to human flourishing.

Last year, CPSFL launched two housing initiatives and keeping with our commitment to affordable housing, the first three months of residency are free and after that, residents pay 30% of their income as rent.

Even more progress was made in 2020-21, when we successfully placed 180 Palm Beach County residents in safe and affordable housing and ensured they have supports in place to succeed.

Community Partners of South Florida, is proud to partner with The City of West Palm Beach as well as The Lord’s Place, JFK Medical Center and The Lewis Center to ensure the safety, comfort and success of the clients we serve.

At a minimum, all of our neighbors deserve a safe place to rest their heads at night. CPSFL is committed to meeting people where they are on their housing journey. It may start with a temporary safe shelter, but we’ve seen it end with family reunification and even homeownership. Community Partners of South Florida is there for our community every step of the way.
