Community Partners of South Florida offers assistance in locating affordable rental housing for qualified clients, single adults and/or families. We partner with local landlords to identify and pair compatible roommates in two-bedroom apartments to maximize affordability. CPSFL provides education around the rights and responsibilities of a tenancy. We offer case management for persons with disabilities, particularly persons with a mental health diagnosis. We connect clients to independent living services, make home visits, and provide needed support and resources. CPSFL offers programs that serve adults with chronic mental illnesses and addictions, extremely low-income families, and households with disabilities. Two examples include the Supportive Housing Program (SHOP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

- Evernia Place – Fixed-income apartments for seniors in Downtown West Palm Beach
- St. Charles Place – Eleven, one-bedroom units in West Palm Beach
If there are no vacancies in one of our properties, our case managers will work with you to identify a private landlord and stay with you throughout the process.
Families must meet income guidelines to qualify for SHOP. For 2022, eligible families were those that did not exceed 80 percent of the Palm Beach County Area Median Household Income (AMI) of $90,300. To access some set-aside, assisted units, the income limits may be restricted at 200 percent or less of the Federal Poverty Level. For SHOP, the head of household must also have a documented mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. For TANF, there must be at least one child under 18 years old residing in the house.
